5 Ways Working Mothers Can Organise Their Big Family
Even though we have several responsibilities in life and our priority is always more on how to execute them properly.
Home organization is not an easy process for most working moms, especially those that have a big family to manage. Just imagine children running around the rooms when you are trying to concentrate on meeting an important deadline or delivering an important process-driven task; it’s sometimes quite frustrating when you need to get some work done, even though you love them dearly.
However, getting past the challenges sometimes just need a quiet moment to work out a plan that best suits the needs of the family.
Being a working mother and organizing a big family is doable, and here are the ways to execute an organized family with ease:
Have your kids get ready in the morning
As a working mother, it is not an easy one to make the kids get ready in the morning. I help them pack their bags, lunches, and books. I normally organize the following day the night before as it’s easier to manage the early morning manic and rushing, especially on Monday morning. Also, I ensure I wake up at least an hour before my children in order to have enough time to get myself ready for the day.

Use a family calendar or planner
A big family calendar or planner is the right choice for you because it gives ways to schedule your day to day activities easily. It also allows you to track the activities the entire family needs to do in a day, week, or month.
Assign chores to children
You should assign certain tasks (age appropriate) to children when they’re at home. This is because it will help the family a lot to manage resources without any difficulties. Getting kids on board will provide large benefits for their future life. Kids can even learn more about the works and responsibilities in detail from you and from helping around the house, which will enhance their skills for the world of work and independence.

Stay away from technologies
Are you using mobile phones and technologies frequently? Then, stay away from them after leaving your office. It would be wise of you to turn off your notifications at night. You should avoid certain things such as phone calls, social media, voice mails, text messages, etc. Implementing this practice can also improve the productivity levels in your life.
Make room for friends and have some fun
Relaxation is necessary for everyone to get peace of mind, and friends often play a key role in the process. I like to invite friends over to my home to spend valuable time with them.
Friends can help reduce your stress levels and will stand by you when you face difficult situations in life. It’s also good to converse with other people and have a good time, especially if you have all been caught up in your working mother’s lifestyles.

Great tips! There are just three of us and I work from home but having a calendar and using to-do list are still a must for staying organized.

We use a calendar as well! We have two whiteboard calendars in our kitchen— one monthly, and one weekly. It’s nice to be able to break everything down and see how the month and week is going to play out! And while my kiddos are still really young and aren’t the *best* at cleaning up, I still have them help me pick up their toys and put them in the toy room…even if it’s just in a pile that I’ll have to sort later!

I love the thought of getting away from technology. I’m on my phone way too much and then I get nothing done!

I totally agree with these tips! I especially do the ‘no tech’ rule once I’m done for the day. Working from home is super hard at times but this really helps me to kind of log off work and just concentrate on spending time with my family and getting chores done around the house.
